Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Wardyr collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions? Email support@wardyr.com.

What we collect

• Your account: name, work email and password (stored only as a secure hash).
• Your workspace and billing: workspace name, plan and subscription status. Card payments are handled by Stripe; card numbers never reach us.
• Your tests and their results: the tests you create, and the results, video, screenshots and logs we capture when we run them. Because tests run against your real site, these recordings can contain personal data of your own users.
• Login details you choose to store: if you save credentials so Wardyr can sign in to your app, we keep them encrypted and never show them back to you.
• Basic usage data: we record how the product is used, on our servers, to run and improve it. There's no third-party analytics or tracking inside the app; the one ads tag on our public pages is described under Cookies below.

How we use it

To provide and run the service, manage your account and billing, send you service and test-result notifications, keep the product secure, and meet our legal obligations. We don't sell your data.

AI features

Some features use AI, and they're off by default. When you turn them on, we use Microsoft Azure OpenAI to analyse the relevant page content and error details and produce a result. That content isn't used to train AI models, and it isn't shared with anyone else.

Who we share it with

We rely on a few trusted providers to run Wardyr, and each receives only the data it needs to do its job: Microsoft Azure hosts the service (and runs the AI features above, when you enable them); Stripe processes payments; and SendGrid delivers our emails. We don't share your data with anyone else.

Cookies

Inside the product we use only the cookies needed to sign you in and keep the app working, plus a little browser storage for your preferences. The signed-in app never loads ad tech.

Our public pages (the landing page, pricing and sign-up) carry Google's ads tag, which we use for one thing: knowing when an ad we paid for led to a sign-up. In places where ad cookies would need your consent, the tag runs in cookieless mode instead, so there's still no cookie banner: where consent would be required, the cookies aren't set. We don't use remarketing or ad personalisation anywhere. You can opt out of Google's ad measurement at adssettings.google.com.

How long we keep it

Run recordings and evidence are deleted automatically after a period set by your plan (currently 7 days on Free, 30 on Standard, 90 on Pro). Your account and workspace data is kept while your account is active. Deleting a workspace removes its test data; billing and usage records are kept for as long as our accounting requires.

Your choices

You can update your details, manage email preferences, and delete a workspace's test data from your settings at any time. To access or delete your personal data, email support@wardyr.com.

Where your data is held

We host Wardyr on Microsoft Azure in Australia, and encrypt your data in transit and at rest. Some of our providers (Stripe for payments, SendGrid for email, and the AI service) may process data outside Australia. When they do, it stays encrypted in transit.
